Really, this seems like a no-brainer to me. Wouldn't
most users want the default setting to be "all boxes checked?," that is, to recover things to as close as possible to where it was when the power failed or whatever? Sure, on those occasions when I am planning a shutdown, I could check those
boxes all by hand - assuming I remember that the utility is there - but wouldn't it be a lot less painful for a user to close apps he doesn't want open, once the system reboots?

That being said, I can't believe something like this didn't come standard with the first release of Windows.

Mahalo - Dave
Commented Issue: Displayed Apps show no text [14875]

In changeset 65219 (today), it looks like I've got the basics of the Binding (finally) implemented correctly - the code compiles and runs without throwing any exceptions, and (since I've hard-coded it for the moment to only display two apps - Outlook and IE) it seems to create two entries in the ListBox. However, the entries are completely devoid of any text - they respond to a click (by highighting the row), and there are only two rows that respond that way, but the rows are completely white (no text).

I don't believe this has anything to do with the type of object to which I'm binding the List<> data - I tried substituting a ComboBox for the ListBox, and the same behaviour occurred (two rows, but no text in the rows).

I'm going to try reverting back to the Collection instead of the List<> and see if that affects anything. Whether I add Path=processDescriptiveName to the inner {Binding} or not doesn't seem to make a difference. I even tried Path=EnumeratedProcess.processDescriptiveName on a lark, but still no further. In fact, I can remove the ItemsSource parameter from ListBox as well, and still the same result.
